- Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1345m/4412ft), meet at airport; transfer to hotel. Pre-trek meeting in the evening.
- Day 2: Pick up from hotel in Kathmandu drive to airport to board short flight to Lukla (2840m/9320ft)–From Lukla trek to Phakding (2610m/8560ft)–approximately 3.5 hours
- Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11290ft) – Approximately 6 hrs
- Day 4: Acclimatization day trip around Namche Bazaar. Explore the vibrant market, visit the local museum and enjoy stunning panoramic views.
- Day 5: Trek to Tengboche also known as Tyangboche (3860m/12660ft) – Approximately five hours

The trek starts with a flight from Ramechap or Kathmandu to Lukla Airport (Tenzing Hilary Airport) on the first day. After reaching Lukla, trekkers will initiate their first phase of a trek to Phakding, where they will spend a night at a local tea house.
The second day follows with the thrilling hike from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, known as gateway to Everest. Namche is a bustling town in Everest Region with mixed culture, cuisine, and logistics. To reach Namche Bazaar, trekkers must walk through the rocky and rugged terrains for 6 to 7 hours.
So ensure that you are well-prepared with your physical abilities and essential gear. The following day, trekkers will go through acclimatization at Namche, along with exploring the local villages and settlements.
Trekkers will leave Namche Bazaar on the fourth day and hike to Tengboche. Exploring Tengboche Monastery and the insights into Buddhism will be mind-blowing. Similarly, they set on a new journey and reach Dingboche, enjoying the picturesque vistas of snow-capped mountain peaks like Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Nuptse, and many others.
Trekkers will then continue their hike to Lobuche after acclimatizing at Dingboche. Then they will proceed toward Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep, the last teahouse accommodation in the Everest Region.
In addition, trekkers will head towards Kala Patthar, a perfect viewpoint in the Everest Region. From there, trekkers can experience a 360 degree view of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Nuptse and many other peaks.
Trekkers will return from the base camp following the same trail to Namche Bazaar. After a day, they will return to Lukla, where they will catch a flight to Ramechap or Kathmandu, wrapping up EBC Trek.
