A thrill seeker’s dream! Hiking, biking, flying and paddling the magnificent landscapes of Nepal on this 15 day, action packed adventure amongst arguably, the most beautiful natural environment in the world.
This trip is not for the faint hearted and you will need to bring out the dare devil in you as we start the trip tackling the white water rapids of the Bhote Kosi. Hang on to your everything as we conquer some of the most adventurous rapids in Nepal amidst the most awesome scenery. There’s no rest for the wicked, no sooner are the rafts packed away before you will be whisked up to the Last Resort so you can plunge 160 meters into a tropical gorge with a raging river flowing below.

After a night in Kathmandu regaling others of your dare devil jump, we head out on mountain bikes to explore the Kathmandu Valley before we venture out into the mountains for 2 days of exhilarating bike riding. We hang up our helmets in Pokhara and dig out our hiking boots for a 5-day trek into the heart of the Annapurna. With spectacularly beautiful views of some of the highest mountains in the world, you will finish your trek with memories to last a lifetime. After views of the mountains from the ground, why not take a look at them from the sky? Paragliding over Phewa Lake surrounded by the Annapurna mountain range will leave you speechless as you leap off the mountainside and float like a bird over this magnificent landscape.

There is never a dull moment in this adrenaline-fuelled trip, full of daring activities in a country full of natural beauty and where and an adventure lies around every corner.

Itinerary

Activities: We will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel, just relax for
the rest of the day to recover from your long journey.

Highlights: Bustling Thamel, an array of restaurants, bars and shops.

Highlights: Conquering some of the most thrilling white water rapids in Nepal

Accommodation: A fixed tent resort with wooden camp beds.

 

Highlights: A 160 meter leap/swing into a tropical gorge or abseiling down high waterfalls in a most breath taking environment.

Accommodation: 3* Kathmandu Hotel.

Hours in the saddle: 4.

Riding distance: 35km

What’s to see: Rato Machhindranath temple in Bungamati, Barja Varahi temple in Chapagaon.

The trail: Dirt tracks through villages, an uphill forest trail and narrow tracks through rice paddies.

Accommodation: 3* Kathmandu Hotel.

Hours in the saddle: 5-6.

Riding distance: 32km

What’s to see: Kulekhani Lake, the Pulung Valley. On a clear day you can see the entire Himalayan range from Daman.

The trail: Off road tracks all the way today!

Accommodation: A local, basic resort.

Hours in the saddle: 5-6.

Riding distance: 59km

What’s to see: A local Tibetan Buddhist monastery where you will see the monks chanting in their morning prayer.

The trail: A magnificent, peaceful, downhill, paved road running alongside the Rapti River.

Accommodation: A local, basic hotel.

Duration: 6 hours.
Accommodation: 3* star Pokhara Hotel

Hours of walking: 4.

Difficulty: Easy to moderate.

Elevation reached: 1540m.

Terrain: Gentle inclines, well defined paths, riverbank trails.

Views on offer: The towering, snow-capped Annapurna range.

Highlights: Tasting the sweet, local oranges, walking alongside the Bhurungdi Khola.

What’s to see?: Orange groves and rice fields.

Accommodation: Basic Teahouse.

Day 09 :
Ghorepani.

Hours walking: 6.5.

Difficulty: Moderate to difficult.

Elevation reached: 2810m

Terrain: Stone staircase, steep inclines.

Views on offer: Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain), Gandharba Chuli and Annapurana II and III.

Highlights: Conquering the 3300 steps to Ulleri to enjoy magnificent views.

What’s to see?: Rhododendron and oak forests, langur monkeys and musk deer.

Accommodation: Basic Teahouse.

Hours of walking: 6.

Difficulty: Moderate to difficult.

Elevation reached: 3210m at Poon Hill and 2700 at Tadhapani.

Terrain: Steep, hilly descents and jungle paths.

Views on offer: Panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Highlights: Reaching the top of Poon Hill for amazing, panoramic views.

What’s to see?: The village of Durali and lots of langur monkeys.

Accommodation: Basic Teahouse.

Day 11 :
Ghandruk

Hours of walking: 4.

Difficulty: Moderate.

Elevation reached: 1940m.

Terrain: Some steep descents and riverbank paths.

Views on offer: Fishtail Mountain, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Annapurna South and Himchuli.

Highlights: The warm welcome of the Gurung people in the traditional villages and the views from Ghandruk.

What’s to see?: A pretty local monestary and Gurung museum.

Accommodation: Basic Teahouse.

Hours of walking: 4.

Difficulty: Moderate.

Elevation reached: 1010m in Nayapul and 850m in Pokhara.

Terrain: Gentle descents, well defined trekking paths and riverbank trails.

Views on offer: The Annapurna range surrounding the Phewa Lake in Pokhara.

Highlights: The last day of trekking! Congratulations on finishing your trek.

What’s to see?: Modi Khola River, last glimpses of the mountains.

Accommodation: 3* Pokhara Hotel.

Highlights: Leaping from the mountainside and floating above Pokhara, over Phewa Lake with breathtaking views of the Annapurna region. You can ask your pilot to video you experience.

Accommodation: 3* Pokhara Hotel.

Duration: 6-7 hours.

Accommodation: 3* star Kathmandu Hotel.

Day 15 :
Departure.

Goodbye and farewell from Nepal!
