We offer multiple dates for the EBC trek in 2024 and 2025, allowing you to choose a date that suits your schedule.

During the booking process, please be aware that it will lead you to the payment page. You have two payment options: pay a 20% deposit to confirm your trip or pay the full amount upfront.

If you opt for the deposit, the remaining 80% is payable in cash (in USD or widely accepted currencies like AUD, CAD, EURO, GBP, SGD, etc.) when you arrive in Kathmandu.

If you would like to make a bank transfer, please let us know and we will provide you with our bank details.

If you encounter any problems while booking your trip, please get in touch and we will be happy to offer alternative options to make the booking and payment process easier for you.

Booking Your International Flight:

For our 14-day EBC tour, you should plan to arrive in Kathmandu on Day 1 and depart on Day 14.

It’s advisable, especially for travelers from western countries, to arrive in Kathmandu a day earlier to acclimate to the time difference and recover from jet lag.

Additionally, it’s recommended to allocate a few extra buffer days after the trek.

Lukla flights can be canceled due to adverse weather, so having some extra days can prevent any issues with your return ticket.

Packing for the EBC Trek

Packing for the EBC trek can vary from person to person.

To assist you, we’ve compiled the ultimate packing list for EBC as a helpful guideline. Be sure to review it carefully and pack accordingly based on the season of your trek and your personal preferences.

Arrival Information

Once you’ve booked your flight ticket, please share the details with us.

If you’re arriving earlier, we can arrange accommodation at the same hotel for an additional cost and provide airport pickup.

Our office staff will be waiting for you at Tribhuvan International Airport, holding a sign with “Mosaic Adventure” as you exit the airport terminal.

Flight to Lukla and Return

During the peak season, typically from mid-March to mid-May in spring and late September to late November in autumn, flights to Lukla and back operate from Ramechap airport.

At other times of the year, they depart from Kathmandu.

Don’t worry about transfers; we’ll arrange the approximately 4-hour drive from Kathmandu to Ramechap at no additional cost.

Trek Starting and Ending Days

The actual trekking days are from Day 2 to Day 12. You’ll fly to Lukla on Day 2 to commence the trek and return to Lukla on Day 12. On Day 13, you’ll fly back to Kathmandu and be transferred to your hotel.

For example, if you’ve booked the tour from January 5th to January 18th, 2025, you’ll fly to Lukla on January 6th, 2025 and return to Kathmandu on January 17th, 2025.

Standard Trekking Day

Expect to spend 11 nights and 12 days completing the EBC trek.

You’ll trek from Lukla to Everest Base Camp and back, with overnight stays in villages like Phakding, Namche, Tyangboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorakshep, Pheriche, and Lukla.

Each day’s trek will begin around 7:30 AM and conclude in the late afternoon, with frequent breaks to catch your breath.

You’ll have numerous photo opportunities along the way and enjoy breakfast and dinner at the same place, while lunch is en route.

Our team will provide regular briefings about timing and stops.

Accommodation

In Kathmandu, you’ll stay in 3-star hotels with twin/double sharing beds.

During the trek, your accommodation options are teahouses. Although basic, these EBC teahouses are clean and provide a comfortable place for a good night’s rest.

Food

In Kathmandu, your package includes breakfast, typically served buffet-style except on the day of your Lukla flight, when you’ll receive a packed breakfast.

During the trek, you can choose from a menu offering local and international meals.

After a long day of trekking, you’ll appreciate the hearty meals.

It’s important to stick to vegetarian food from your arrival in Kathmandu until the end of your trek, as proper toilet facilities are not available everywhere along the trail.

Baggage and Weight Limit

On your flight to Lukla, the total baggage weight allowance is 15 kilos (33 pounds), combining both checked and carry-on baggage.

Ensure you pack approximately 10/11 kilos in your checked bag and 5/4 kilos in your carry-on to stay within the 15-kilo limit.

If you have items you don’t need on the trek, you can leave them at the Kathmandu hotel for storage at no cost.

Remember to take a photo of your bag-tag and keep it for easy identification in case the original tag is lost.

Drinking Water on the Trek

Bottled water is available along the trail, but we encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottles and treat tap water to reduce single-use plastic bottle waste.

Be sure to bring water treatment pills and flavorings to enhance the taste.

Staying hydrated is essential, so aim to drink more than 4 liters of water daily while trekking.

Electricity, Charging and Wi-Fi

Please keep in mind that you’re embarking on a trek to EBC, not exploring urban areas.

While some facilities like charging and Wi-Fi are available at an extra cost, they are not guaranteed.

We recommend against planning to work or conduct online meetings during the trek, allowing you to fully enjoy the mountain experience.

Money for Extras and Tipping

You should have Nepali rupees for expenses such as tea, coffee, bottled drinks and Wi-Fi.

Plan to carry about 150 to 200 USD equivalent Nepali rupees. Additionally, set aside 200-250 USD for tipping your guide and porter. The amount can vary based on the level of service provided by the field staff members.

Temperature during the trek

During the Everest Base Camp trek, while journeying from Lukla to Everest Base Camp, temperatures vary according to altitude and the places you hike to. Below, we have compiled the minimum temperatures you can anticipate on this trek for each of the 12 months. These temperatures are tentative and may vary slightly, being either higher or lower. You should expect the below temperatures for the last two nights/days while staying in Lobuche and Gorakshep.

Joining as a solo traveler

If you’re gearing up for our 14-day Everest Base Camp trek, we’re excited to have you on board!

Our trips are designed for solo adventurers, small groups and couples, creating a friendly vibe throughout the journey. During the trek, solo travelers will room with someone of the same gender, making it a shared experience and a chance to connect with fellow trekkers.

If you’re looking for more alone time, you can choose a single supplement in Kathmandu, getting your own room for two nights—one before and one after the trek—for an extra USD 90.

Just keep in mind, due to limited space and the communal feel of teahouses during the trek, solo trekkers will share rooms with fellow travelers. Unfortunately, there’s no single supplement available during the trek itself, even if you’re willing to pay more.

But don’t worry, the shared experience in the teahouses adds a special charm to the journey, creating a sense of community among like-minded adventurers.

Get ready for an amazing adventure!

Extensions of Your Stay

If you wish to explore Kathmandu further, consider booking our Kathmandu Heritage Day Tour.

Alternatively, you can opt for a pre-EBC acclimatization trek to Poon Hill or other side trips around Kathmandu.

Feel free to contact us to discuss these options after booking your Everest Base Camp Trek.

Everest Base Camp Trek Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Will you pick me up from the airport?

Yes, we arrange for pick up from Tribhuvan International Airport as per your flight time. Once you book the tour, one of our tour coordinators will reach out and request this information.

When is the best time to do the Everest Base Camp trek, and can I trek during off-trekking seasons?

Sir Ranulph Fiennes once said, “There is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.” With that in mind, the autumn (mid-September to early December) and spring (March till mid-June) seasons are considered the best time to trek Everest Base Camp and any other treks in Nepal. These seasons offer mild temperatures, good weather, clear mountain views, and a crisp surrounding that attracts many trekkers.

However, if you cannot trek during these seasons, you can still join the trek during off-seasons. Summer/monsoon (mid-June onward till mid-September) and winter (mid-December to the end of February) are the off-trekking seasons. These months may have more hostile weather and lower temperatures than during peak months.

If you are planning to trek during winter, you must be prepared to face the cold, with temperatures dropping to minus degrees; about minus 20 or even below that. If you plan to trek during summer, you must be equipped with proper rain gear.

What is the total cost of the Everest Base Camp trek?

Total cost of Everest Base Camp trek is USD 1445 per person. This amount covers the cost of your food, accommodation, the guide and porter charges, permit costs, transportation costs, flights, etc. To learn more about the cost, please click on the “Inclusion/Exclusion” tab.

Is the price of the Everest Base Camp Trek different for Indian Nationals?

Everest Base Camp trip cost is a flat USD 1445 per person for all nationalities, including Indians. We do not compromise on services based on nationality and ensure that everyone receives equal treatment.

Please note that our online payment gateway might not support some cards issued by Indian banks. Please get in touch with us and we will provide an alternative option for payment.

What permits do I need for the Everest Base Camp trek?

Trekking to Everest Base Camp means walking inside the Sagarmatha National Park in the Khumbu region. Therefore, to walk through the region, you need to obtain two different permits currently. They are the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entry Permit (USD 20 per person) and the Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit (USD 30 per person).

When you book one of our EBC tours, these permits are included and arranged by us, so you do not have to worry about them.

How fit do I need to be for the Everest Base Camp trek?

The Everest Base Camp trek is considered a relatively strenuous trekking route in Nepal. However, it does not require any previous trekking or mountaineering experience.

You are attempting to reach the base camp, not the summit itself, so technical experience is not required. You only need to be in good physical condition and able to walk for four to six hours per day over hilly terrain with a light backpack.

If you are not an experienced trekker or do not exercise regularly, we recommend embarking on a training program for EBC well in advance of commencing this trip. You will have plenty of time to rest throughout the trek, and the pace will be slow to help you acclimatize safely to the increasing elevation.

What is the level of accommodation like?

In Kathmandu, your accommodation will usually include an attached bathroom and facilities such as air conditioning, reception, and dining services. The level of accommodation is Nepalese 3-star and is comfortable and clean. If you require an upgrade of accommodation in Kathmandu, there are many 4-star and 5-star options available at an extra cost. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require an upgrade.

Once you start your trek, you will be staying in “Teahouses.” You will be sharing a twin room at these teahouses. The bed mattresses are usually firm and not sprung mattresses that you may be used to at home.

Everest Base Camp Trek accommodation is very basic, and there will usually be shared shower and toilet facilities. There is a communal dining hall in all teahouses offering limited meal choices. Although basic, the teahouses are clean and provide a welcoming, friendly, and warm resting place after a day of trekking.

Are there fixed itineraries for the Everest Base Camp trek?

We organize both fixed and customized tours. Fixed tours are operated on a group-joining basis, with dates available under the ‘Dates/Availability’ tab. We also operate tailor-made itineraries for the trek. For those trekkers wanting to do short and longer treks, we have different itineraries, such as 20-day EBC and Gokyo Lake trek, Everest Panorama trek, Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter trek and so on.

These are customizable itineraries that you can modify depending on your convenience. You can lengthen or reduce the number of trekking days from these itineraries. Please get in touch with us if you are interested in booking a customized trek to EBC.

What type of food can I expect on the Everest Base Camp trail?

You will find many tea houses on the trail that offer a wide variety of food and drinks. From typical Nepali dishes to continental dishes, you can find all types of food and drinks on the trekking trail to EBC. You can enjoy popular Nepali dish – Dal Bhat with seasoned vegetables and pickles. Additionally, you can enjoy pizza, momo, noodles, macaroni, sizzler, sandwich, burger, and more. You can also enjoy different types of coffee, fruit juice, and alcoholic drinks. However, since this is a high altitude trek, it’s important to maintain body hydration, so it’s a good idea to avoid alcoholic drinks.

Is enough drinking water available? How much water should we carry in our daypack?

We ask that all our customers bring water purification tablets and a water bottle with them. (They can be bought in Kathmandu if forgotten.) Mosaic Adventure supports responsible tourism, so we do not encourage trekkers to buy bottled water in the Himalayan region. Although it is available, there is no proper disposal system for plastic bottles, and we would like to keep our mountains clean and trash-free.

There will be plenty of water available along the way to fill your bottles, and most brands of purification tablets take just 30 minutes before you can drink your water. You can carry a water bottle of about 1.5 liters and fill it as you go; there’s no need to carry water for the whole day. We recommend that you drink a minimum of 3 to 4 liters of water per day while on your trek.

Can we take showers during the trek?

Showers are available at the teahouses, usually in shared bathrooms, especially as you go higher up. You will have to pay for a hot water shower per person. The higher you go, the colder it gets, and you may find that you do not want to shower as often. You can wait just a few days until your descent. If you do not want to take a shower, you can use wet wipes to clean your body. You may not find them during the trek, or if you find any, they may cost more. So it’s a good idea to buy them in Kathmandu.

Do I need to take walking poles?

Walking poles are not compulsory but can be useful, especially on the way down. Poles help you balance on the way down and take the strain off your legs (quad muscles) on some of the steep climbs. You can buy poles in Kathmandu, and they easily collapse, so you can attach them to your backpack when they are not needed.

Can I buy any equipment in Kathmandu before the start of the trip?

There are plenty of trekking shops in Kathmandu selling equipment inexpensively compared to the prices you would normally pay at home. However, the quality of these products cannot always be guaranteed.

If you do not want to take the risk, we recommend that you buy major items, such as trekking shoes, before you arrive in Nepal. It is also recommended that you buy your shoes well in advance of your trek so you can “break them in” and avoid blisters during your trip.

If you want to manage the trek cost, you can even rent some gear after paying a deposit amount.

Or, if you happen to forget some gear in Kathmandu, you can buy them at Namche Bazaar as well.

Can I recharge my iPod, batteries, cameras, etc. while on the tour?

Yes, you can recharge your electronic devices in the teahouses. Please remember that the plugs might be different than those at home, so don’t forget to bring adapters with you or buy them in Kathmandu before the trip. You will have to pay for the use of electricity to recharge your electrical items, usually at a cost of $3-5 US per hour.

How much money per day do you think I will need? What currency should I take?

The local currency in Nepal is Nepali Rupees. We recommend that you bring US dollars or other widely accepted currencies like Euros, GBP, etc. to Nepal and exchange them here as it is easily done and widely accepted. Make sure to exchange them to NPR before heading out on the trek as teahouses might not accept other currencies. Also, you will not find ATMs in places higher than Namche Bazaar on the trek. Even those available at Namche or Lukla might not work all the time. So it is wise to carry enough NPR cash on hand.

The amount of money you will need on a daily basis depends on your spending habits. A guide would be $15 per day for extra drinks and the bar bill during your trek and $20 per day to cover lunch/dinner while in Kathmandu.

What do I have to carry with me during this Everest base camp trek?

You will need to carry a reasonably sized daypack, big enough to carry personal items, water, camera, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, a fleece jacket, and gloves for higher altitudes.

For the trek to Everest Base Camp, the most important things you should carry in your daypack are personal items that you need for the day.

Do not forget to carefully go through packing list for Everest Base Camp Trek including enough snacks and a water bottle. Also, include lip balms, moisturizers, sanitizers, and sunscreen.

While you carry the light pack, your porters will carry the bigger packs with your clothes, etc. They will carry packs up to 20 kilos (10 kilos of each participant).

Please note that on a flight to Lukla, the weight limit is 15 kilos – 10 kilos for check-in and 5 kilos for carry-on, and the weight is combined. So your check-in and carry-on bag should not exceed 15 kilos in total. If you have any items that you don’t need on the trek, they can be stored in the hotel in Kathmandu without any additional cost.

What if I get sick while on trek?

It depends on the nature of the sickness. Usually, if you become sick, you will descend to a lower altitude with the help and support of the guide or porter. If you are seriously ill, we will arrange an emergency helicopter evacuation service. You should purchase travel insurance to cover such expenses.

Our guide will take immediate action according to the situation. Please make sure you arrange travel insurance that covers you for a medical evacuation service and trekking at high altitudes.

Do not take altitude sickness lightly. It can be fatal! Please familiarize yourself with the symptoms of altitude sickness before your trek. Do not ignore even the mildest of symptoms, and inform your guide immediately.

Our guides carry basic medicine and first aid equipment, including simple painkillers, altitude sickness tablets, bandages, balm for muscle ache, and medication to treat diarrhea and vomiting.

Our experienced guides will walk with you throughout the trek. If anything happens to you, they will take care of you. If, by any chance, you fall sick, there are health posts in Lukla, Namche Bazaar, and Pheriche where you can get medical services.

How do I know if I am suffering from altitude sickness?

As you ascend to higher altitudes, you may be prone to altitude sickness. Some common symptoms include sleeplessness, nausea or vomiting, dizziness, fatigue, headache, loss of appetite, increased heart rate, and shortness of breath. If you experience any of these symptoms, it may be an indication of altitude sickness.

These are minor symptoms of altitude sickness. If you continue to ascend to higher altitudes despite experiencing these symptoms, you may experience more severe symptoms such as difficulty walking, severe headache, tightness in chest, frequent coughing and shortness of breath, confusion, and more.

Is travel insurance necessary for the Everest base camp trek?

A high-altitude trek like EBC definitely requires reliable travel insurance. The chances of unexpected accidents and altitude sickness are common during the trek. Sometimes, trekkers fall seriously ill and require immediate helicopter evacuation.

In such emergencies, the cost of evacuation can be quite expensive. Due to these reasons and to ensure the safety of you and your belongings, travel insurance is a must. When obtaining insurance, you should check if it covers you up to a height of 6000 meters.

The Everest base camp trek is among the most popular treks in Nepal, and there are well-developed tea houses serving basic to higher-end facilities. So, a “luxury” stay is possible during the Everest base camp trek, but only up to Namche Bazaar.

On these treks, you will spend nights in high-quality teahouses with the finest services and food. So, it is good to be mentally ready to face such unforeseen situations and plan your return flight accordingly, keeping some buffer days.

However, if you plan your trek during April and May, you have a chance to meet and interact with the team preparing to climb Mount Everest. Additionally, you can meet the expedition team at Tyangboche monastery, where they collect their final blessing before starting their ascent.

Can I take pictures of people and monasteries while on the Everest Base Camp trek?

In many places, it is acceptable to take pictures of the locals, monasteries, chortens, and mani walls. However, some locals you encounter on the trail may not appreciate being photographed. Furthermore, taking photos inside some monasteries is prohibited. Therefore, it is a good idea to research on do’s and don’t in Nepal and ask locals or your guide for permission before taking any pictures.

Although the trek to Everest Base Camp is challenging due to the altitude and uneven terrain, there are no technically difficult sections that require special climbing gear, such as ice axes, harnesses, and crampons. Therefore, you do not need to bring such equipment.

However, if you trek during the winter months, we recommend packing micro spikes for your shoes and gaiters.

Despite the cold conditions during our February trek, the stunning views made it all worthwhile. Madhav organized the tour on short notice, fitting in with our sudden holiday plans. Once we arrived in Kathmandu, everything was perfectly arranged. We met Madhav and our guide Madan, at Hotel Moonlight, where they gave us a thorough briefing. After clearing up our questions, we were excited to begin our adventure. Our flights to and from Lukla were on time, thankfully. The trek went smoothly under the guidance of Madan and our porter Shir, who both went above and beyond our expectations. 10. Winter Everest Base Camp Trek
By Jessie Uehara February 25, 2024
As two female travelers visiting Nepal, we were initially hesitant about choosing a local organization. However, my friend and I decided to book a trip to EBC and completed it in January 2024. From our arrival at the airport to the selection of our hotel in Kathmandu and the teahouses along the trail, everything was well planned. The arrangement, including the guide and porter, was excellent. We found the entire package to be very reasonably priced at just USD 1445 and every dollar was worth it. During the trek, I fell a little ill due to the altitude and cold temperatures. However, our guide Ramesh took excellent care of me and my friend. He frequently checked on our health conditions and well being, providing proper advice and ensuring our safety throughout the journey. With Ramesh's help, we successfully reached the base camp, realizing our dreams. We are thankful to Ramesh and the entire team for their outstanding hospitality and service.

His English proficiency was good, and his knowledge of the region was unmatched. He ensured the safety and comfort of the entire group throughout the trek. This trip to Nepal and the Everest Base Camp trek was our first ever experience in the country and we are already planning to return for another trek. I will certainly book with them again for my next trek. They are truly an excellent company.

  15. Everest Dream
By Holly Lillian December 9, 2023
It has been my dream since I was 15 years old to reach Everest Base Camp and I wanted to do it in the best way possible. Despite encountering many international companies, I was determined to choose a local Nepalese company, leading me to select Mosaic Adventure after thorough research of companies offering this trek. Finally, I made the decision and booked the 14 day trek with them, which includes 11 days of trekking with 2 acclimatization days during the ascent. The weather was pleasant in November, with a clear blue sky and sparkling white mountains and our guide leading us was amazing. I believe the quality of your guide is the main factor that can determine whether your trip is the best or the worst. Fortunately, our group members and I were fortunate to have Buddha as our guide on this incredible adventure. I want to extend my gratitude to everyone for helping me achieve my dream and for making it an excellent memory of my trip to Nepal.

By George Chrysan December 6, 2023
We chose Mosaic Adventure based on their efficient and quick response. Madhav responded to my hundreds of emails patiently and helped prepare for the trip by answering all of my questions. We booked online by paying a 20% deposit and paid the balance in cash when we met Madhav for the trek briefing. Besides Madhav, our guide Ramesh was also really great. He is friendly, caring and supported us all the way to EBC. During adventures like this, there are some hard days where you really need the support of a guide like Ramesh. Overall, it's a great trekking company run by professional people.

We did a 14-day Everest Base Camp trek and it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Purna our lead guide, Tek the assistant and all our porters were amazing. The group we signed up with had a mix of people of different ages, but they were all amazing. It's great to share such an incredible experience with like minded people. 21. Trip of a Lifetime
By Christina Lo October 15, 2023
Everest Base Camp trek had been on my checklist for a while, along with a few of my close friends. Mosaic Adventure played a really great role in helping all of us tick it off the list. None of us were regular hikers, but we were determined to do it anyway. With the help of Madhav from Mosaic, we started planning four months before the trip. He assisted us with all of our questions. When we arrived in Kathmandu, we met Madhav who introduced us to our guide, Sonam. The next day, we began our adventure with a flight to Lukla. Sonam patiently accompanied us throughout the journey, providing professional yet friendly service. He really helped and encouraged us a lot to make sure we reached the base camp. It was difficult but a fun trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Sonam. He made it happen and we returned with high recommendations for both the guide and Mosaic Adventure. We hope to see you on other adventures in Nepal.
  22. Challenging Trek - made possible by Ramesh
By Alexis Portnova October 4, 2023
It was one of the most amazing yet challenging treks that I have ever done, all made possible by Ramesh and his continuous support. Ramesh is a professional and expert in what he does, and probably the best guide you could ask for when trekking to Everest Base Camp. I can't recommend Ramesh highly enough for making our experience one to remember for a lifetime.
  23. 10/10
By Robyn Harvey September 29, 2023
Trekking to Everest Base Camp was the best trip ever. It was a well organized tour with a great guide and the best sherpas. I was able to meet the most amazing people from different countries. Our small group of 6 came from various countries, so now I have lifelong friends in different parts of the world. All credit goes to Mosaic Adventure for arranging such a great trip on fixed dates, allowing people from around the world to sign up. Every one of us reached base camp, although only 2 reached Kalapatthar, and I wasn't one of them :). But, I am happy with what I have achieved. Highly recommended guide Purna, owner Madhav and everyone at Mosaic Adventure.
  24. Great trip to Everest Base Camp
    By Christian August 20, 2023
Just got back from a great trip to EBC. We did it in the month of July. Although our trip was affected by rain on most of the days, we made it to the base camp and had a great time accompanied by guide Purna and porter Tika. While planning this trip, Madhav from Mosaic Adventure told us that July is the monsoon season and if possible we should plan to come for the trip in spring or autumn. However, due to my work schedule, my wife and I decided to go in July anyway. Madhav gave us the right information that really helped us prepare ourselves for this trek in July. If you are planning this trip in the monsoon months like July, make sure you keep some extra days after the trek. Our flight got cancelled for three consecutive days, and we flew back to Kathmandu after spending three days in Lukla. However, we enjoyed our stay in Lukla, exploring places and bars. In our case, we bought our return ticket after getting back to Kathmandu, so we didn't have to worry about missing the flight home. Be prepared for a great adventure with them. No matter when you do it, I am sure you are going to have a good time on the trail. Hope to return to Nepal in 2025 for another great trek in the Himalayas of Nepal.

I had an incredible 14 days trekking to Everest Base Camp. Special thanks to our guide Purna and all of the porters who helped us along the trail. It was the most beautiful two weeks of my life, with stunning views and wonderful people that I will never forget.
  26. Remarkable Journey
    By Stuart P June 30, 2023
Approximately two months ago, idea of embarking on a motorcycle journey across India began to occupy my thoughts. During my research Mount Everest kept making frequent appearances in the articles I came across. Intrigued I gradually became obsessed with the idea of including Everest in my trip. After extensive internet searching, one company stood out: Mosaic Travel. Their exceptional reviews led me to promptly reach out to them, kickstarting the adventure. Madhav, a representative from Mosaic Travel, promptly addressed all my inquiries. Initially, I doubted whether I was prepared for the Everest Base Camp (EBC) experience. However, with Madhav's unwavering support I gathered the courage to go for it. Upon my arrival in Kathmandu, I was warmly greeted by my guide, Purna who would accompany me throughout the next 14 days. That evening, I had the pleasure of meeting Raj, who ensured I was fully prepared for the journey ahead. Purna arranged to pick me up at the hotel at 5 a.m. and together we embarked on a trip to Lukla, renowned for its perilous airport. Remarkably, we arrived without encountering any problems. Throughout the journey, Purna proved to be an exceptional companion. Fortunately, the weather remained favorable allowing us to savor remarkable moments like enjoying tea at the world's highest hotel with an incredible view of Everest. Witnessing the magnificence of Everest for the first time left me deeply moved. The experience of beholding such beautiful mountains is truly extraordinary. As the journey drew to a close the weather began to change. I made the decision to opt for a helicopter ride back, as it would grant me additional time to explore Kathmandu and avoid potential delays in Lukla caused by the weather. Raj and Purna maintained constant communication and following our visit to EBC and a night in Gorakshep, they managed to secure the only available helicopter back to Lukla. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Upon arriving in Lukla, the weather had deteriorated further and no planes were able to depart. Through their resourcefulness, Purna and Raj secured an empty seat on the first helicopter due to a cancellation. Unfortunately, it was unable to depart that day. Nevertheless, this unexpected turn of events allowed Purna and me to enjoy local beer and pizza, finding a silver lining amidst the circumstances. The following morning, I successfully made my way back to Kathmandu being one of the last individuals to leave for a couple of days. Purna and Raj collaborated closely to ensure my safe return. Their dedication went beyond their responsibilities enhancing my trip in numerous ways. During my adventure I had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people and forging lasting friendships. The memories we created will undoubtedly endure a lifetime. In Kathmandu, Purna and I met for a coffee, where I expressed my profound gratitude once again for the incredible journey. Mosaic Travel proved to be an extraordinary travel agency, displaying the utmost professionalism and going the extra mile to provide me with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone considering the Everest Base Camp to seize the opportunity without hesitation. Rest assured, Mosaic Travel is the optimal choice to accompany you on this remarkable journey.

4 of our friends and I are immensely thankful to Mosaic Adventure for arranging our journey to Everest Base Camp. It was an extraordinary trek that will remain in our memories forever. We wish to express our sincere appreciation to Madhav for his flexibility in accommodating our requirements and for arranging the outstanding guide, Pralhad. Pralhad's friendliness, attentiveness, thoughtfulness and care made our trek even more enjoyable. Additionally, we had the pleasure of being accompanied by the remarkable porters, Harka and Suka, who proved to be resilient and dependable throughout our journey. Every member of the Mosaic Adventure team went above and beyond, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our happiness, comfort, and safety throughout the entire trip. 28. Cost of the Everest Base Camp trek with Mosaic Adventure is worth the service
By Arek Schwarz April 9, 2023
While comparing various companies for the Everest Base Camp trek, I approached many companies and found that there is a kind of price war between them. Although I found other cheaper offers, I chose to book with Mosaic Adventure due to the quick response from the owner, Madhav. I did the trek with 3 other people and their service was worth the price we paid. The EBC trek was absolutely amazing and offered truly breathtaking views surrounded by high Himalayan peaks. Our guide, Purna, and porters, Buddi and Makar, went above and beyond to make it super easy for us. The overall arrangement, including the selection of the Kathmandu hotel, teahouses on the trek, quality of food, guide and porter, exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Mosaic Adventure to anyone planning on doing this legendary trek to EBC.

This was truly one of my best adventures. Everything was amazing, from the highly supportive group of hikers to the cozy teahouse accommodations, the exceptional guide and porters, and the efficient tour coordinator in Kathmandu. I am grateful to Mosaic for this unforgettable adventure, which gave me the opportunity to discover the amazing trails and people out there, and to see the incredible Himalayas, including Mount Everest and Amadablam. This trip was unique and offered breathtaking views. I will definitely recommend Mosaic Adventure to my friends as the best option for booking trekking trips in Nepal. I wish everyone on the team all the best!
  31. One of the most amazing adventures
By Stephen Brown March 13, 2023
I just returned from a trek to Everest Base Camp, and it was one of the most amazing adventures I've had. Our guide, Ramesh, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. He was always willing to go the extra mile and listened to us, providing proper advice that was essential for trekking at such high altitudes. Madhav in the office was also very helpful in planning our trip, responding quickly and giving us the information we needed in a concise and efficient manner. I hope to return for another trek and will definitely use Mosaic Adventure again, requesting Ramesh as our guide

  34. Great time in Nepal
By Daniel Winston January 4, 2023
I had a great time in Nepal with Mosaic Adventure. I booked 14 days Everest Base Camp trek, it was small group of 5 people. Our guide Rudra was awesome. Rudra anticipated our needs and made sure we were comfortable as we went on climbing above 18000 feet. After the trek I booked some extra day trips and those were excellent too. I will definitely contact them for my next Nepal adventure.

I highly recommend Mosaic Adventure's 14 day Everest Base Camp trek. It was well organized trek led by our professional guide Pralhad. Raj and all the staff at Mosaic were excellent, we felt safe and well looked after throughout our trek.
  36. Amazing Adventure
    By Roger N December 20, 2022
I and three of my other friends booked Everest Base Camp Trek with Mosaic Adventure. We booked it for 1330$ per person and I think it is fairly reasonably price considering the services delivered by them. We managed to make it to the top with the guidance of our friendly guide Ramesh. It was an amazing adventure and genuinely recommends the agency.

By Molly Whitsett December 12, 2022
Mosaic Adventure did an excellent job organizing our Everest Base Camp Trek. They had the friendliest staff and did everything to make our trip a lot more memorable. The treks through such landscape really make you realize what you miss out on while living in the city. Along with the Base Camp, highlight of the trip was the Kalapatthar. All in all, a perfect trip from the beginning to the end.
  41. Extremely Comfortable and Enriching Adventure
By Jessica Anderson December 7, 2022
It was my first time ever taking a trekking trip outside the country and I was quite nervous about the whole experience. However, according to recommendations from friends, I booked the Everest Base Camp Trek by Mosaic Adventure and they made the whole trip extremely comfortable and enriching for me. Everything, from the hotels to the food, was amazing but it all fell short in front of the iconic sights. The morning hike to Kalapatthar was extremely exciting as it was the first time; I truly experienced the Everest in all its glory. Our guide Pralhad was an absolute professional and took special precautions to make the trip more comfortable. This entire trip has given me the confidence to travel alone thanks to Mosaic Adventure and Pralhad.
  42. Everest Base Camp with my lovely wife
By Harry Wright December 4, 2022
My wife booked the Everest Base Camp Trek for the both of us as an anniversary gift. The quality of service and overall experience provided by Mosaic Adventure was remarkable from the very first day. Our day in the Kathmandu provided us with many beautiful photogenic and interesting sights. Equipment and amenities provided by Mosaic were of great quality and helped make this treks a lot more comfortable. The greatest one was definitely to reach Everest Base Camp with my lovely wife guided by wonderful Rishee. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. I will definitely recommend friends and family to take this trip with Mosaic.
  43. Smooth adventure
By Bhavik Savaliya December 3, 2022
I would like to express my extreme gratitude to my guide Pralhad for the smooth adventure trek to Everest Base Camp. He was not just a guide but also a motivator when I felt low energy. He always had answer to my question about the places we visited. From the very beginning since I planned to travel with Mosaic my contact Madhav was prompt in his responses. I would highly recommend anyone who wish to take adventure trip in Himalayas to travel and book their trip with Mosaic.
  44. Incredible Trip
By Melissa Lawrence November 27, 2022
This was my first trek and I couldn't recommend Mosaic Adventure more. initially I was nervous especially as the scale of Everest Base Camp Trek was huge compared to anything I have done before. But on arrival to Nepal, Mosaic team made me feel at ease and I started to feel really excited. The entire trip was incredible and I couldn't have done it without Mosaic Adventure. I definitely will be back.

By Michael Young October 22, 2022
Did Everest Base Camp trek from 3rd October to 16th October 2022. We are very grateful with Mosaic Adventure for organizing such an amazing trip. Rudra was a wonderful guide who was always ready to help. Really did great job when we had some symptoms of altitude sickness, we are able to make it only because of advise and guidance provided by Rudra. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for well priced professional local company.

  49. Excellent experience
By Tom Sheehan June 18, 2022
My recent EBC trek was an excellent experience. Our guide, Pravin, was top notch. Knowledgeable, compassionate and equally concerned with both our enjoyment and keeping us safe. The trek itself was definitely strenuous and the higher we got, the more difficult it became. Scenery, mountains and valleys, local villages and omnipresent animals were perfect. Weather was great until we got back to Lukla, when the rain and fog trapped us for 5 days. Finally got out by helicopter. Now it's two weeks later and I read that no planes have been to Lukla for three weeks. Be prepared.
  50. Amazing Everest Base Camp Trek
By Kieran Grant April 26, 2022
What an amazing trip to EBC with Mosaic adventures. Due to Covid the trip was delayed by 2 years but Madhav was always flexible about amending the dates and really quick to respond to queries. The trek itself was managed excellently by Rishi who safely got me there and back. Due to issues at Lukla there was often a bottleneck of people at the Tea Houses but Rishi always managed to somehow find me a room when others were being turned away. Overall, from initially booking the trip to finally getting to Nepal and completing the trek I can’t recommend Mosaic Adventures enough.
  51. Trekking the Himalayas with Expert Guidance
By Jaryn Rodriguez March 15, 2022
Going to the Himalayas was like a dream come true. It was even better than I imagined! Even though it was tough sometimes, seeing all the beautiful mountains and meeting friendly people made every moment special. I had been waiting for this trip for years because of the pandemic. Watching videos and reading stories couldn't prepare me for how amazing it actually was. Every morning, I woke up excited to see the sunrise and explore more. The trek to EBC was hard, especially getting used to the cold. But that's what adventures are all about, right? A big reason why our trip was so great was because of Pralhad and Tashi from Mosaic Adventure. They took such good care of us and taught us a lot about Nepal. I'm really grateful for their help. I also want to thank Madhav from Mosaic Adventure for planning everything so well. His hard work made the trip even better. If you're thinking about going on this trek, I say go for it! It's an experience you'll never forget. I'm so thankful to Mosaic Adventure for giving me this amazing adventure.
  52. Excelled in guiding us on our Everest Base Camp Trek
By Stephanie Ward March 14, 2022
Trekking to Everest Base Camp is an unforgettable journey that requires reliable partners. My experience with Mosaic Adventure and their guide and porters exceeded expectations. From swift responses to precise information, Mosaic ensured a smooth journey from Kathmandu to EBC. Sonam, our guide, was a lifeline, offering motivation and support every step of the way. The overall experience, including comfortable accommodations and delicious meals, was exceptional. Not only me, but other trekkers part of our group praised their professionalism and the dedication of the guide and porters on the trail. Thanks to Mosaic Adventure's exemplary service and expert guidance, reaching EBC was not just a dream but a remarkable reality.
  53. A great experience
By Filippo and clementina August 22, 2020
We had a EBC trek organized by the Mosaic adventure and it was amazing. We were able to organize everything from Italy, getting all the information we needed very quickly. They organized our trip exactly as we wanted and every detail was perfect. The staff (both the ones in the office and the ones who did the trekking with us) were very competent and careful. A great experience!!! For sure when I'll go back to Nepal I'll organize another trek with them!
  54. An Amazing Trek
By Martine Ciappareli November 5, 2019
No hesitation for my 2nd trip to Nepal: I will go again with Mosaic Adventure! It was another amazing trek from Jiri to Everest Base Camp, perfectly organized from the moment we landed in Kathmandu to the time we left. We had the very best team we could hope for: Bn our guide and the two porters Ram and Santos! They were always ready to help, patient (we were not exactly the fastest trekkers!), had a good sense of humor, and Bn planned our tour to perfection, making sure we were happy and comfortable at all times. He was very experienced, caring, helpful, and funny. It was a real pleasure to spend time with him. He took us to these marvelous villages, stopping at the most amazing lodges (a room with a view of Everest!), and eventually took us safely to Ama Dablam BC for a memorable picnic! What a treat! Many thanks and hoping to see you again one of these days!
  55. Incredible trip from start to finish
By Andrew Scot October 9, 2019
From start to finish this was an incredible trip! Really impressed. Professionally organised and well run throughout, with all staff always willing to help out and go the extra mile. Excellent standards of accommodation (compared to all other tours spoken to) and a good selection of food options. Brilliant guides leading the way, with friendly porters supporting. The itinerary was exciting without being too strenuous, and the scenery was simply breathtaking every day. I can't recommend Mosaic Adventure highly enough, and would certainly look to use them for future Nepal adventures!
  56. Warm hospitality
    By Sharon October 9, 2019
I have just finished my Everest trekking with Mosaic, is my second time going with Mosaic after our first encounter in 2012.I would like to thank for their good service they maintain in those years, rendering wise travel advice, profesdional gears, warm hospitality etc.I really hope to trek with them the third time in future.
  57. Ryan Zielinski
    Trip of a lifetime
By Ryan Zielinski August 13, 2019
If you're looking to do trekking in Nepal then stop looking at other companies because this is the one you want to go with. In the main office, Madhav does an excellent job of planning your trip and making sure everything is to your liking. Even half a world away, he answered all of my emails within 24 hours. He will do everything within his power to make sure your stay in Nepal is nothing short of amazing. On the Everest base camp tour, my guide Rishi was equally impressive. So if you have the opportunity to request a guide, request him. He always made sure we stayed at clean and comfortable teahouses with good food. It was also nice to have someone looking out for signs of altitude sickness and checking up on your health and acclimatization, daily. He also knows all the good places to take pictures and is very knowledgable of the surrounding mountains and wildlife. You should also bring some cards with you and ask Rishi to show you some of his magic tricks. The trek itself is the trip of a lifetime and I can't accurately describe it here, so you should just do it! In Kathmandu, Keshar was a fountain of knowledge. During my city tour he told me everything I wanted to know and more. I got so much more out of the places he took me to with his keen insight. Keshar is a great student of Nepalese history and culture and is very enthusiastic about it. I couldn't have asked for a better city guide. If I ever have the fortune to make it back to Nepal I will certainly be booking my trip with Mosiac Adventure.

Impressed and pleased with the EBC trek
By Sue Sann Ong June 3, 2019
We are very impressed and pleased with the EBC trek organised by Mosaic Adventure - the process has been very seamless and Raj has been very responsive to our emails, including accommodating to our requests of staying the night at Ramenchap before flying out to Lukla the next morning. Bhumi Amgain's (our guide) professionalism, friendliness and thoughtfulness has been exceptional from start (picking us up at the Kathmandu airport) to end (when we left Lukla to Kathmandu). His advice on renting the duffel bag to prevent our backpacks from being dusty was very thoughtful and we truly appreciated his hospitable touch on providing freshly cut apples and pomegranate after every dinner. As it was just two of us in the group, Bhumi was very patient in letting us walk at our own pace and taking breaks when necessary as well as offering to carry our backpacks on short day hikes to reduce fatigue. Bhumi also demonstrated good knowledge in educating us of the surrounding mountains throughout the EBC trek and also the local sherpa culture or the Nepalese culture in general. A notable incident whereby Bhumi was very helpful was helping to tape up a friend's hiking boots which was coming apart with duct tape to ensure it lasted till the end of the trip. All in all, we would definitely strongly recommend Mosaic Adventure and Bhumi as the guide for any friends who are interested in doing the EBC trek in the future.
  59. Incredibly delighted
By Adam and Schloss May 16, 2019
My wife and I used Mosaic for a Everest Base Camp trek and were incredibly delighted with the Mosaic experience. Our guide was spectacular, the group was small, and there was personalized attention that the larger tour companies cannot provide. I can not recommend this company high enough.
  60. Professional and responsive team
By Mike Orgill May 16, 2019
I used Mosaic for the Everest Base Camp Trek and had an amazing experience. They were very professional and responsive before I ever arrived. Everything went smoothly (pick up, accommodation, flights, etc). I had an amazing guide (ask for Pralhad if you can) who was very focused on keeping me happy, safe and comfortable. What sets Mosaic apart from many of the other tour companies that I saw was the level of personal attention that they give to their clients.
  61. Recommend your service
By Alejandra Brito May 9, 2019
It has been a delight to deal with Mosaic Adventure; we appreciate our very excellent guide. We will recommend your service especially to all my friends and colleagues. Many thanks!
  62. Probably the best company out there
By Wessam Badr May 5, 2019
My friend and I (both from Australia) did a two weeks trek to Everest base camp (5365m above sea level) and Kala Pathar (5545m above sea level) through Mosaic Adventure. The company was amazing, probably the best out there (based on quick comparisons with people that we met during the trek). They were also very reasonably priced. They explained to us all expected costs before arrival to Nepal and before we left for the trek. They were absolutely correct and there were no hidden costs or anything. They were extremely helpful as well. One particular example was a flight problem to Lukla. The weather was bad that day and our flight was cancelled due to that. We were asked to come back the next day. This was not the company's fault or anything. My friend and I really didn’t want to spend one more day in Kathmandu and cut one day from our trek. So we enquired about helicopters. Many people in the airport travelling to Lukla were doing the same. We got very expensive quotes for helicopters and so did other westerners. Madhav (Trek Coordinator) knew that we were interested in catching a helicopter but our budget was low. So he made some phone calls and managed to get us on a helicopter for about half of the price that other westerners were paying that day. The Company is also extremely organized and very professional. You get to meet your guide the day before. And they gave us an awesome Kathmandu city tour as well. Unlike other companies that were just trying to sell, this company was actually concerned about us. About our comfort, safety, enjoyment etc. whenever we had some reception in the mountain, Madhav would call our guide and check up on us. He would then talk to us quickly to make sure that we are ok and that we are having fun. As beginners in the trekking world (not very fit and didn’t train before the trek or anything), we felt very safe and comfortable. The company’s support helped us reach our goal/destination successfully. Our mountain guide (Hari) was awesome, really awesome. Best mountain guide ever. He became a good friend of ours. Other mountain guides were not as friendly and as funny as he was. He made us laugh and laugh that we had no problems with altitude sickness or anything. He was very responsible and supervised us really well without us feeling that he was doing that. He gave us the exact amount of freedom that we wanted. Other hikers would finish their trek, get to the tea houses, get changed, have a quick dinner and then go to bed. With us, it was finish the trek, get to the tea houses, get changed, eat dinner, play cards and laugh for a few hours, socialize with our guide and all his awesome mountain friends, then we would go to bed. This socializing exercise and constant laughing really helped in ignoring the lack of oxygen in the air. So overall, our guide was awesome. In conclusion, we loved the company and felt very comfortable and safe with them. We recommend it to everyone. They do have many other tours and treks. And if I am ever planning to go to Nepal again to seek adventure, I would definitely be doing it through Mosaic Adventure.
  63. Excellent trekking experience
By Matthew Sage April 25, 2019
Me and my partner had an excellent treking experience with mosiac. We did the two week everest base camp trek and had an absolutely amazing time. Everything about the trip was well organised from the tour of kathmandu before the trek (which took in 4 of the major sites and was extremely informative and fun) to the transport and accommodation throughout the trek. Our treking guide, Pralhad, was really good, always making sure we were okay, he was really patient encouraging us to walk slowly, answering all our questions and he also took good care of us both when we got a little bit sick towards the end of the trip! The accommodation on the trek was basic of course but the places we stayed always seemed pretty nice compared to some of the other places around. Mosaic were very accommodating, for example we had to put the trek date back just a few days before it started and they arranged this immediately with no complaints, answered all our questions throughout and were extremely organised and efficient (every time someone was suposed to collect us from somewhere they were on time with their mosaic sign, friendly and helpful) also they arranged to donate our unwanted treking clothes to a local orphanage for us. Mosiac are a really great company with helpful staff, I would definitely use them again if I had the chance to return to Nepal.
  64. Wonderful experience
By Winnie Wa November 9, 2018
I joined Mosaic for Everest Base Camp trek in May 2014. In fact, I joined its Poon Hill Trek in 2012. It was my second time going a trek in Nepal with Mosaic. The tour coordinator, Madhav is helpful and reliable. He responded quickly to our request and tailor made the itinerary to suit our needs and gave professional advice. The tour ran smoothly with the support of the guide, Rishi and the porters, Rhim and Hita. Meeting Madhav and Rishi again is like reunion with old friends. It is a wonderful experience. Thanks.

    Amazing and challenging trek
By Sam Arthur March 3, 2016
The adventure I had was both amazing and challenging. I rushed my body to the limits and also had my eyes opened to the most beautiful sights. I made lifelong friends with other trekkers and shared moments of sickness, happiness and achievement, all with the trust and joy of my excellent guide Pralhad who I will never forget.

    Can't wait to come back
By Blethyn Mitchell October 10, 2014
I highly recommend Mosaic.I booked with Mosaic at the last minute, and they helped me with everything. I arrived in Kathmandu a week before my trek and they still offered to pick me up and take me to my accommodation at a different hostel from which they use at no cost. They explained what I would need to buy and where to buy it and what to look at before our Everest Base Camp Tour. We had an amazing guide with us on our trek who seemed to have more patience than any one I know. There was 4 of us on the trek and one of the guys was 62 but our guide Shanker managed to get us all to our daily destinations safely. When I arrived back in Kathmandu I fell really sick and had to go to Hospital, When Mosaic heard of this they immediately contacted me and were willing to make arrangements to take me to a good hospital. Further more my Bank stopped my cards working and Mosaic happily offered and lent me money to cover all my costs until I sorted my my bank out. All this based only on trust having no idea if they would see me again. Thank you so Much Rajendra, Madhav and Shanker for making my Trek and time in Nepal amazing. Cant wait to come back one day.
  67. Reliable company with well priced Everest Base Camp Trek
By Joe and Soph. August 14, 2014
We went with Mosaic tours in Kathmandu to do the Mount Everest Base Camp Trek in August this year. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is keen on doing the EBC or any other trekking in Nepal. They are reputable, reliable, well priced, trustworthy and most importantly they put our personal safety above all else. All ran smoothly from start to finish. We started our experience with Mosaic Tours the day we arrived in Kathmandu with our guide Pralhad and tour organizer, Madhav. They met us at our hotel in Kathmandu and gave us an in depth run down on everything we needed to know for our upcoming 12 day trek. They lent us down jackets and Sleeping bags (free of charge) which saved us lugging them half way around the world. The morning of the trek, Pralhad meet us again at the hotel and we were off on the most amazing adventure ever! If you can get Pralhad as your guide, we would highly recommend him. He really knows his stuff! He is extremely experienced, kind, understanding (especially appreciated by my wife who was a novice trekker), knowledgeable, good fun… and good at cards! Between Prahlad and our fantastic porter Jetha, we had an awesome experience. When we arrived back at Lukla it was too foggy for planes to fly in, so we ended up having to get a helicopter at our own expense. We were escorted by Pralhad to the spot where we were collected (about 1.5 hour trek) where he dropped us and then trekked back up the mountain to Lukla, which we appreciated SO much. One week after leaving Nepal we noticed our credit card had been charged an EXTRA $1000 USD for the helicopter trip, which we had organized using another company outside of Mosaic. Although the helicopter was arranged completely externally from Mosaic tours, we contacted Madhav and asked if he could help us retrieve our lost funds. Within 2 days Madhav had resolved the issue with the helicopter company for us and had our money refunded! If you are looking to trek in Nepal- Mosaic are awesome, they are the real deal. They are a reliable, safe and a ‘no-stress’ trekking company in Kathmandu, Nepal!! Cheers Madhav, Pralhad and Jetha! ?
  68. Everest Base Camp with Ramesh

Trekking with Ramesh from Mosaic Adventure to Everest Base Camp was an absolutely amazing experience. Ramesh, our guide, showed expertise, patience and humor throughout the journey. He ensured our safety and comfort at every step, making the experience truly unforgettable. Alongside his assistant Tekraj, they offered unparalleled support and knowledge, enriching our cultural immersion in Nepal. Whether it was attending to an unwell member or accommodating slower paces, Ramesh and Tekraj remained by our side, making us feel secure and cared for. If you seek a remarkable trekking experience with seasoned guides, look no further than Ramesh and Tekraj. I can't wait to return to Nepal with them for another adventure!

It could not have been better
By Adam Schloss April 4, 2013
My wife and I recently completed an 11 day Everest Base Camp Trek through Mosaic. We did not know who to use and relied upon Mosaic's high tripadvisor rating. We are so happy that we did. Everything went as planned and our tour guide could not have been better. He was 30 years experienced while other guides we met on the trail were quite young. Our group was just the 2 of us while other groups were 10 to 15 people. Madhov responded quickly to my emails, met us at the airport, and was wonderful to work with. They also provided down jackets and warm sleeping bags which is not common with other tours. Could not offer a higher recommendation. Just be warned that the Everest base camp trek is incredibly difficult and you must be in good shape.

Everest Base Camp Trek, one of the most amazing things I have done and it was thanks to Raj and his team at Mosaic Travel. Was catered for every step of the way and shown things along the way that was above the requirements of the guys and made it a truly amazing individual experience! One of the best two weeks of my life! Thanks Mosaic!

We went on Everest Base Camp trek in July from Mosaic Adventure Trek with Gokul who was our trekking guide. He was excellent, helpful and spoke Spanish fluently. Mosaic provided us with very good service. I would recommend Mosaic Adventure Trek Expedition and Gokul to all trekkers.

Nepal is a beautiful country. It's natural resources in the Himalayas as well as the southern jungles are completely unique. Any person with an adventuresome bone in their body would be thrilled and delighted seeing this country. Mosaic Adventures did an excellent job of providing a first time visitor to Nepal the guidance and framework for experiencing the beauties of the country. My trip was well planned and well managed and everything went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend their services to anyone contemplating visiting Nepal. The trip would be memorable.

    Great trip with lovely views

A great trip with some lovely views, interesting guide and good accomodations+food. Unfortunately we didn't get the best view of Mt. Everest but after all it was the monsoon. However, we did get a fantastic view on the way down. A highly recommended organization and a friendly team of people.
