Let Mosaic Adventure take you into the heart of the beautiful Everest region, experience the magnificent views and panoramas of some of the most spectacular mountains in the world, all whilst enjoying the comforts of some superior, luxury lodges.

Everest Panorama Luxury Trek starts in Kathmandu in the 5 star Dwarika’s hotel, located in the heart of the city and built in a traditional style using ancient craftsmanship. After a cultural tour of the Kathmandu Valley, a short but thrilling plane rides takes you to Lukla, high in the mountains and the starting point of the Everest Panorama Luxury Trek.

The bustling hillside town of Namche Bazaar will offer you a warm welcome and from there, we venture into a mountain wonderland for superb views of Everest and the surrounding Himalayas.

After 7 day trekking, we return to Kathmandu and stay in Gokarna Forest resort, nestled in the most beautiful surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and offers a peaceful, woodland environment. Here, you will be treated to a spa package to rejuvenate your body after your exertions in the mountains, a perfect way to round off this luxurious trek in the Himalayas.

Day 1: Welcome to Nepal!

Activities: We will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel, just relax for the rest of the day to recover from your long journey.

Highlights: Relaxing in the luxurious, ornate 5 star hotel and enjoying their delicious food.

Accommodation: Dwarika’s 5 star hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Meeting with trekking guide, last minute shopping for your trek and Kathmandu sightseeing.

Highlights: Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swaymbhunath and Patan Durbar Square, cultural and historical sights of the Kathmandu Valley.

Accommodation: Dwarika’s 5 star hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Flight to Lukla (45 minutes) and trek to Monjo.

Hours of walking: 7.

Difficulty: Easy to moderate.

Elevation reached: 2840m in Lukla and 2850m in Monjo.
Terrain: Flat and downhill to Phakding, well-developed paths, stone steps, riverbank trails and gradual inclines up to Monjo.

Views on offer: The Dudh Kosi River and valley and distant snow capped peaks.

Highlights: The breathtaking flight between the mountains.

What’s to see?: The National Luminary Pasang Lhamu Memorial Gate which is dedicated to the first Sherpa woman summit Mt. Everest, she sadly died on the descent, while attempting to save the life of a team member.  Mani stone walls, herds of yaks and dzos and huge suspension bridges crossing the dudh Koshi.

Accommodation: The luxury Yeti Mountain Home in Monjo.

Day 4: Namche Bazaar.

Hours of walking: 4-5.

Difficulty: Moderate.

Elevation reached: 3440m.

Terrain: Rocky and dirt tracks, stone steps, mostly uphill, gradual with some steep inclines.

Views on offer: Spectacular approaching views of Namche Bazaar,snow capped peaks and the river valley.
Highlights: The colourful Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar – the gateway to the high Himalaya and crossing some impressive suspension bridges over the river valley.

What’s to see?: The milky waters of the Dudh Kosi River, thick rhododendron, magnolia and fir tree forests, herds of yaks carrying supplies.

Accommodation: The luxury Yeti Mountain Home in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: The world’s highest hotel, Khumjung Village and back to Namche Bazaar. (Acclimatization day.)

Hours walking: 4.

Difficulty: Easy – moderate.

Elevation reached: 3962m at Mountain View Hotel, 3790m at Khumkung.

Terrain: Hilly, grassy trails, some steep inclines and flat tracks.
Views on offer: Everest, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, Taboche Peak and Ama Dablam.

Highlights: Your first sight of Everest!

What’s to see?: Khumjung Edmund Hillary School, Sherpa museum, shops and markets around Namche Bazaar.

Accommodation: The luxury Yeti Mountain Home in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Thame.

Hours of walking: 5

Difficulty: Moderate.

Elevation reached: 3860m.

Terrain: River bank path, some steep inclines, some flat and some narrow paths.

Views on offer: The Dudh Kosi River Valley, some spectacularly pretty waterfalls and the surrounding Himalayas.

Highlights: Watching the nuns make clay pottery and plaques and visiting the new monastery at Thomso. (An extra climb but worth it!)

What’s to see?: A tree nursery established by Sir Edmund Hilary at Phurte and a Tibetan Nunnery.

Accommodation: The luxury Yeti Mountain Home in Thame.

Day 7: Kongde.

Hours of walking: 5.

Difficulty: Moderate.

Elevation reached: 4250m.

Terrain: Rocky uphill tracks, stone steps, some steep inclines and riverbank paths.

Views on offer: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-Oyo, Gyajung Khang, Ama Dablam, spectacular Khumbu valley and the Kongde Lake.

Highlights: The views from the lodge as you relax after a day’s walking with a hot mug of Nepali tea.

What’s to see?: Mountains for miles to see and the local, traditionally built houses.

Accommodation: The luxury Yeti Mountain Home in Kongde.

Day 8: Phakding.

Hours of walking: 5.

Difficulty: Moderate.

Elevation reached: 2610m.

Terrain: Some steep descents and well-define trekking paths.

Views on offer: The river valley and the Dudh Kosi.

Highlights: Returning to lower altitudes!

What’s to see?: Mani stone walls, small stupas and Buddhist prayer wheels.

Accommodation: The luxury Yeti Mountain Home in Phakding.

Day 9: Lukla.

Hours of walking: 8.

Difficulty: Moderate

Elevation reached: 2840 meters.

Terrain: By the banks of the river, stone steps and some descents and last ascents up to Lukla.

Views on offer: The glistening river amidst a mountain backdrop.

Highlights: Our last day of walking in this beautiful Khumbu region, we have completed the trek!

What’s to see?: Thick forests, an array of birds and some final views of the mountains.

Accommodation: The luxury Yeti Mountain Home in Lukla.

Day 10: Flight back to Kathmandu.

Highlights: Another breathtaking airplane ride on a twin-engine otter amidst the mighty Himalayas.

Accommodation: Gokarna Forest Resort.

Day 11: Free time and spa!

Highlights: Time to relax, enjoy the spectacular setting of the resort, have a swim and indulge in the spa package included in this trip.

Accommodation: Gokarna Forest Resort.

Day 12: Departure

Goodbye and farewell from Nepal!
