Overview

Helambu is a strikingly beautiful area situated north of Kathmandu and south of the Tibetan border.

This trek explores a pristine national park, encountering traditional villages, colorful, dense forests of rhododendron, pine and bamboo, and an abundant array of wildlife; leopards, musk deer, langur monkeys and the endangered red panda roam the forests of the Helambu region. Meandering through luscious valleys and following raging rivers, this is a perfect trek if you have limited time in Nepal, where you can still experience spectacular views of the Langtang Range, beautiful ornate monasteries and an insight into the lifestyle and culture of traditional mountain people.

This trip never fails to impress, from Chisapani, where you will be treated to magnificent sunrise views of the Langatng range, to the extraordinary vistas between Magen Goth and Thare Pati, the Helambu trek will surely captivate your heart and leave you seduced by the beautiful mountains of Langtang.
