Destination: Drive to Soti Khola via Arughat on a local bus (private vehicle upgrade available with additional cost).
Duration: Approximately 7 hours journey.
Accommodation: Basic Teahouse.

Terrain: Forest paths, well-defined trekking trails, gradual inclines.
Views on offer: Colourful forests and the wonderful flora and fauna of the area.
Highlights: Sleeping besides the Machha Khola River and enjoying the delicious local food.
What’s to see: The Machha Khola River

Terrain: Gentle inclines, forest paths.
Views on offer: The surrounding mountains, lush green forests.

Highlights: Visiting Birendra Lake, if you visit in the monsoon season you will see its crystal blue waters, in contrast, if it is winter the lake will be a spectacle of glistening ice.
What’s to see: The local people and houses of the traditional villages and the magnificent scenery.
